18.1	Ordinal Numbers

* پہلا	first	ساتواں	seventh
* دُوسرا	second	آٹھواں	eighth
* تیسرا	third	* نواں	ninth
* چوتھا	fourth	دسواں	tenth
پاںچواں	fifth	گیارہواں	eleventh
* چھٹواں/ چھٹھواں چھٹا / چھٹھا	sixth	بارہواں	twelfth

*The ordinal numbers marked with an asterisk(*) are irregular in Urdu. Other than these, all ordinal numbers are formed by adding واں to the cardinal number.

NOTE: All ordinals inflect like adjectives to reflect number and gender.
However the endings are slightly different from the usual adjective endings:
واں / ویں / ویں
